Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy applies to every workspace, lead, draft, send and crawl.
Prohibited conduct
- Unsolicited bulk email, purchased lists, or contacting people who have opted out.
- Evading suppression, unsubscribe, complaint, or reply handling.
- Illegal, deceptive, harassing, discriminatory, or malicious content.
- Phishing, malware, spoofing, or forged sender identity.
- Scraping non-public data, bypassing access controls, or violating website terms.
- Abusing providers, probes, load tests, or attempts to access another tenant’s data.
Email and data responsibility
You must have a lawful basis to contact each lead and must honor opt-outs promptly. Only approved drafts may be sent; PortKnot does not auto-approve or auto-generate.
Enforcement
We may pause sending, disable connections, or suspend accounts that violate this policy, with notice where appropriate.
Placeholders must be completed and this document reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch. This is not legal advice.
